Hello everyone. My name is Joan Langley. Please call me Joan {long O as in Boat}. I have been living in Japan for 13 years now and have really enjoyed the experience of being here in the "land of the rising sun". I have four children ranging in age from eight months, two years, six years, and nine years. I studied English literature, secondary education and history in University and have been teaching for 14 years. I am fortunate to have many interests including equestrian {horse riding}, swimming, hiking, tennis, cooking especially baking cakes and pies, ikebana, tea ceremony, languages....etc. I am looking forward to meeting you.
