Hi My name is Johnny. I enjoy teaching, helping others as well as in giving. For the past 5 years, I have been involved in volunteer activities and I have been volunteering my time at least 3 times a month to teach English. I believe it is this kind of giving spirit that is important for the student’s growth. I will help students become good English speakers while building a good atmosphere for students to learn. With my educational background in business administration with an emphasis in finance, and being being bilingual, I bring a kind of dynamic energy from a Japanese American point of view to the classroom. I will be able to bridge the gap between the difference in American and Japanese business cultures because I understand the differences between Japanese and American thinking styles. Not only will I be able to assist students with speaking English, but I can assist them with business matters. In summary, I believe in teaching, building long term relationships and above all, I believe in helping others become better English speakers.
